Dr. Mark Fried

Dr. Mark Fried, a resident of Wayland, started his private practice serving patients in Framingham in 1986. In 1994, he moved his office to the current location and has been serving the patients on Edgell Road since then.

Dr. Fried received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Cornell University in 1980 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1984. He has also served as an associate professor, teaching laser dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative dentistry at Tufts University School of Dentistry in the Department of Operative Dentistry (1990-1995). He was one of the first dentists in the Boston area to use a dental laser in 1990 and trained other dentists in its use, and was one of the first dentists in the area to do Porcelain Veneers (commonly used in smile makeovers) in 1984.

Dr. Fried has traveled to remote regions in the northern mountains of Peru multiple times to provide dental care to the underserved population of the region.
